Requesting Information

These guidelines are intended for law enforcement personnel seeking to request information about Same Day Rules' customers or customer orders.

What is Same Day Rules?

Same Day Rules is a small business that develops technology products and services. We sell hardware and software focused on automation and robotics and enabling technologies.

Data Retention

Same Day Rules retains different types of information for different time periods. Same Day Rules does not retain long-term IP address information; our website is hosted by InMotion Hosting and specific IP address access requests would be directed to their technical support staff. In accordance with PCI-DSS compliance requirements, Same Day Rules does not retain detailed (complete) credit card information.

Public User Information

User information is held by Same Day Rules in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. We require a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process to disclose information about our users.

Private User Information

In accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, private information about Same Day Rules users is not released except as lawfully required by appropriate legal process.

Requests for User Information

Same Day Rules is located in San Diego, California, and will only respond in compliance with U.S. law to valid legal process. Same Day Rules will accept legal process from law enforcement personnel via mail at the location given on our Contact Us page.

Same Day Rules does not accept legal process via email and acceptance of legal process by these means does not waive any objections, including the lack of jurisdiction or proper service.

Requests from Non-U.S. Law Enforcement

U.S. law authorizes Same Day Rules to respond to requests for user information from foreign law enforcement agencies that are issued via U.S. court either by way of a mutual legal assistance treaty or a letter rogatory. It is our policy to respond to such U.S. court ordered requests.

Notification to Users

It is Same Day Rules policy to notify users of requests for their information prior to disclosure unless we are prohibited from doing so by statute or court order.

Information Required Upon Request

When requesting information, your request must include:

• The customer name and any products in question.
• Details about the specific information being requested and the relationship to the investigation.
• A valid email address so Same Day Rules may respond upon receipt of your legal process.
